New Art Exhibit "Lilies & Lotus - "Now on Display""
This exhibit features the native water lilies and American Lotus of our Upper Mississippi Fish & Wildlife Refuge, as well as the wide variety of other lilies which so beautifully and colorfully adorn many local gardens and parks.

Local daylily hybridizer, Nancy Olson, will be present at the Artists Reception from 5-8 PM
, July 10th, at Wings Over AlmaNo experience or knowledge of hybridizing required.
Wings Over Alma offers a viewing platform overlooking the
Mississippi River, equipped with spotting scopes and binoculars for
observing the many varieties of wildlife present year-round,
including hundreds of migrating birds, and dozens of eagles. This
spot on the banks of the Mississippi River
also enables views of
numerous trains daily, fishing on the main channel and a multitude
of recreational, riverboat and commercial river
traffic as they lock
through the Lock Dam #4.
